The efficacy of chlorine dioxide, or MMS as Jim Humble referred to it in his book, The Master Mineral Solution of the Third Millennium, depends on the life cycle of the microbe as chlorine dioxide is extremely effective in killing microbes in the bloodstream. For example, because the malaria microbe is always present in the bloodstream, it has a 100% eradication rate for the disease.
The Lyme Disease microbe is often hidden in the cells outside of the bloodstream (though it may be able to keep it in check), it cannot completely eradicate Lyme Disease by itself. Stabilized oxygen, or sodium chlorite, is used to make chlorine dioxide.
