Chlorine Dioxide Solution, or CDS, is a yellow liquid made from chlorine dioxide gas (ClO₂). This gas is created when sodium chlorite (NaClO₂) is mixed with hydrochloric acid. Once the gas forms, it gets dissolved in distilled water, giving CDS its distinctive yellow color. If the gas escapes, the water turns clear again.
CDS is saturated at 3000 parts per million and is often referred to as CDS 3000 PPM or CDS 3000. It works as an oxidant, adding oxygen to certain substances, causing them to break down or “self-combust.” This is similar to what happens in our immune system when neutrophils (a type of white blood cell) attack harmful bacteria and viruses.
How is CDS Different from MMS?
CDS is often compared to another solution called MMS, which stands for Master Mineral Solution. MMS is stronger than CDS and contains sodium chlorite combined with citric acid.
My father, Jim Humble, discovered MMS and its healing benefits when his team fell ill with malaria in the Amazon. He used chlorine dioxide, which they had as a water disinfectant, to help them recover in four hours. The chlorine dioxide water purifier is available as a two-part kit to make questionably sourced water safe to drink in the field and can be found in the camping section of outdoor sports stores.
Andreas Kalcker, a German biophysicist, worked with my dad to figure out how to best use chlorine dioxide to defeat mad cow disease and later developed CDS from MMS. MMS is ten times more powerful than CDS, but it can cause side effects like diarrhea. CDS, on the other hand, is more pure due to being produced by distillation, is gentler on the body, and still offers similar healing benefits.
How Does CDS Support Healing?
Chlorine dioxide (ClO₂) works in a unique way. When it enters the body, it reacts with acidic environments, like those caused by harmful pathogens, and breaks down into three parts: sodium chloride (table salt) and two oxygen molecules. The oxygen molecules then attach to the pathogens and destroy them through a process called oxidation, which changes the environment from acidic to alkaline.
This ability to target harmful microbes based on their pH makes CDS an effective treatment for various health conditions. It can travel through tissues in the body, much like red blood cells, and neutralize harmful bacteria, viruses, and even parasites without leaving toxic byproducts behind.
CDS 3000 in Everyday Use
Chlorine dioxide is a common disinfectant used for many purposes, including in the food industry and for cleaning drinking water. It has been used safely as a water disinfectant for nearly 100 years. It’s also used in industries like paper bleaching, where it’s applied at much higher concentrations than anyone would ever consume.
Despite its long history of safe use, mainstream media, prompted by the FDA, sometimes misrepresents CDS as a dangerous bleach. These reports cause confusion because chlorine dioxide is used for industrial purposes at much higher concentrations than those in CDS. The truth is that millions of people have used CDS 3000 safely for health maintenance, and it is even used as a preventative measure against airborne pathogens and parasites.
What to Expect When Taking CDS
When first taking CDS, some people might experience “die-off” symptoms, which are a result of the body eliminating the remnants of pathogens that have been destroyed. These symptoms are often flu-like, including fatigue, headaches, or body aches. This reaction is also known as the Herxheimer reaction, typically lasting for less than a week. Once the die-off symptoms pass, most people feel clearer, more energetic, and healthier.
Chlorine Dioxide Solution (CDS) is a gentle but powerful treatment that uses oxidation to target harmful pathogens in the body. Millions of people have safely used it for health maintenance and protection against contagions. Although it is sometimes misrepresented and misunderstood, its potential to support healing is well-documented, making it a valuable option for those seeking alternative ways to maintain their health.
